“He told me to do it so I just did it”- Lucienne Awoudi

Lucienne Awoudi is a science student at Keta Senior High School in the Volta Region of Ghana. At the age of 17, Lucienne has developed an app, Motion Calculator, to calculate acceleration, velocity, speed and distance.

Given to her as an assignment, she didn’t know she was doing something great until she was praised by several others who saw it on the Internet. “It was some kind of assignment he(teacher) gave me. He said Lucienne use all that I have thought you to do this for me… Well I just did it. He told me to do it so I just did it” she said.

Lucienne has no intentions of commercializing her current product. She however has plans of commercializing future apps which will be based on education and health.

She wants to become a software programmer and one of the best computer scientist ever.
